  • Property ZIP code and service description
  • IP address and browser information (from usage analytics)

From Contractors

  • Business name, contact information, and service area ZIP codes
  • Account credentials (password stored as encrypted hash)
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card data)

2. How We Use Your Information

Customer Information

Customer contact information (name, phone, email) is shared with Contractors who purchase your lead. This is the core function of the service. By submitting a quote request, you consent to this sharing.

Contractor Information

Contractor information is used to match contractors with relevant leads, process payments, and communicate about their account.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our website. This data is anonymized and used only to improve the Platform.

3. Data Sharing

We share your data with the following third parties:

  • Stripe — Payment processing for contractor lead purchases
  • Resend — Transactional email delivery
  • Google Analytics — Anonymous usage analytics
  • Vercel — Platform hosting and infrastructure

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising purposes.

4. Data Retention

Customer lead information is retained for 12 months after lead creation. Contractor account data is retained for the duration of the account plus 24 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

5. Your Rights (California / CCPA)

California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect and how it's used
  • Request deletion of your personal information
  • Opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell data)

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and secure payment processing via Stripe. No security system is perfect — we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

7. Cookies

We use cookies for session management (authentication) and analytics (Google Analytics). You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect Platform functionality.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform.
